Indeed, even before he was anywhere near making his international presentation, Taskin Ahmed became a web sensation. In 2016 he was chosen in Bangladesh's squad for the 2016 ICC World Twenty20. In any case, he was later suspended from bowling in international cricket because of an illegal action bowled during the tournament.
2015
In BPL-3 he played for Chittagong Vikings. He became the fourth most searched individual of 2015 in Google from Bangladesh.
After Mashrafe Mortaza, Taskin Ahmed is the second fastest bowler throughout the entire existence of Bangladesh cricket. During the 2015 World Cup, when Taskin timed 146 km/h in a match against Afghanistan, where Mashrafe Mortaza has timed 148 km/h during a Test against New Zealand at Hamilton in 2001.
He is also chosen to Bangladesh national cricket team in the 2015 Cricket World Cup squad for his outstanding performance in domestic cricket in 2014 season. In gathering stage of WC, he took one wicket against Afghanistan, three against Scotland and two against England, which had a vital job to qualify in the quarter-final. 2007
He finished SSC from Ruler Khaled Foundation and HSC from Stamford School. Presently he is an understudy of American International College Bangladesh (AIUB). Taskin started cricket in Abahani playground on 10 January 2007. After playing under-15 and under-17 level he found the opportunity to play for under-19 team. He made his five star debut for Dhaka City in October 2011 against Barisal Division.
