The amended itinerary for the National Team's visit through New Zealand 2021 has been invited by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). The BCB and New Zealand Cricket (NZC) have worked near finalize a timetable that would give the best preparation to the visiting side considering the various challenges and restrictions posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. The Bangladesh team will depart for New Zealand in the not so distant future to play three ODIs and three T20 internationals. 

BCB Chief Nizam Uddin Chowdhury said: "We have been discussing the Bangladesh team's training extensions in New Zealand with NZC as it had become a matter of need during the pandemic. We really appreciate NZC's perspectives on the requirement for international touring sides to have adequate preparation for adjusting to the conditions and the changes in the itinerary are intelligent of that. After the mandatory quarantine on reaching the country, there will be a five-day training camp in Queenstown which should be very beneficial for the team in regards to acclimatizing
