The winning captain!!!

Kane Williamson says there were flashbacks of the last time (referring to Stoinis' 146 back in the 2016/17 ODI arrangement). Feels it was an amazing stand among him and Sams. Tells that things change rapidly on these short grounds and the margin is so small in this format. Figures on these grounds you are always in the game and they simply wanted to execute their plans and stay in the game. Adds it was great to play here and it was a great game. Notices it was an outstanding thump from Guptill and it was great to see his thump after some time yet the commitments from the others were also enjoyable to watch and it was a great effort from his side. Closures by saying it is a team that is growing and improving

Finchy shares his musings

Aaron Finch says it was a great game of cricket. Tells that they got into a decent situation with the partnership among Stoinis and Sams. Terms the stand between the two an awesome one. He feels Boult amazed a brilliant however he wishes his side might have dominated this match. States he does not feel they bowled badly however Guptill played astoundingly and with the platform set, the Kiwis batters cashed in. Closures by saying it is an awesome place to play cricket.

Player of the match

A lot of performances however the award goes to Martin Guptill for setting up the tone with a fine 97.

Guptill says he is somewhat cooked right now yet is pleased with his performance and is happy with the win. States Stoinis nearly did it before to them and he almost did it again. Adds that things have not worked out positively for him yet he is happy to get some time in the center as things were not going his way as of late. Expectations everybody had fun.

First innings summary!!!

Australia won the toss and asked the Kiwis to set a total. And the Kiwis did, a massive one, on the back of a sensational thump from Guptill. Captain Williamson upheld him well while Neesham played a wonderful hand to take the score above and beyond 200.

The Aussies glanced sluggish in the initial 15 overs with Guptill going large. Nonetheless, in the 17th and eighteenth over of the innings, they made a fine comeback, giving only 12 off those two. In any case, the final over expense them 20 and in hindsight, it cost them no doubt.

Almost discarded it!!!

After having the Aussies under the pump, the Kiwis allowed Stoinis and Sams to cut free. Any semblance of Sodhi, Jamieson and Southee were taken to the cleaners. Nonetheless, the eighteenth over bowled by Boult which cost the Kiwis only 6 meant that the asking rate touched the rooftop. Stoinis had to pull out all the stops and he fell in the process against Neesham in the last finished. The Kiwis would feel they have managed to get over the line, by.

Got to feel for Stoinis!!!

At the point when the Mass gets rolling, nobody dares to stop him. Indeed, he was eventually stopped by Neesham yet not before the Mass showed his solidarity. In the thirteenth over of the game, Australia were 113 for 6. Sams walked in and along with Stoinis went bang, bang. Marcus hit 5 sixes and 7 boundaries while Sams hit 4 biggies and 2 boundaries during the cracking stand. Stoinis contended energetically till the final over however missed the mark.
